Operating Principles

Four principles, applied to every engagement.

The firm's operating principles govern how the firm scopes work, deploys technology, and writes about the work afterwards.

  1. 01

    Capital comes first.

Every engagement is shaped by the institutional capital it serves. Technology choices follow capital strategy, not the other way around.

  2. 02

    We engineer inside the client.

The default deployment is the client's VPC, the client's IAM, the client's audit boundary. The firm operates in the client's environment so the client owns the running system.

  3. 03

    Selectively engaged.

The firm scopes engagements selectively. The decision is mutual, the conversation is direct, and the work begins with a senior partner.

  4. 04

    Disciplined writing.

Every signal the firm produces is replayable from input to decision. Audit trails are first-class. Forecasts give way to regimes.

Governance

How the firm is held accountable.

Institutional counterparties expect a clear posture on regulation, privacy, compliance, and counterparty selection. The firm publishes its posture below.

Regulatory framing
Nebula Capital is a technology services provider. The firm is NOT a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or lender. The firm provides Technology Facilitation, Infrastructure Configuration, and Engineering Services.
Privacy
Engagement data lives inside the client's environment by default. The firm holds no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. See the Privacy Policy for the full posture.
Compliance posture
Every system the firm ships is built with audit-replayability as a first-class concern. Decision artifacts are reproducible, attestation receipts are persistent, and the audit boundary remains where the client's auditor expects it.
Counterparty selection
The firm engages with institutional counterparties only. Engagements are mutual selections, not subscriptions.
